PreventionPlus is a companion app for tracking your lifestyle, labs and vitals. It is already available through iOS, with Android coming in the near future. It is available to download, and anyone worldwide can use it to track their well-being (download from the App Store or go to www.preventionplus.app for details). Preventiononly core and advanced members can take added advantage of this app by having it reviewed and contextualized by their physician.

Preventiononly adds a dedicated layer of longitudinal cardiovascular and metabolic risk assessment, prevention planning and physician guided optimization on top of traditional cardiovascular care.

No. Preventiononly uses a direct-pay model, so you pay us directly instead of going through insurance. Simple. Clear. No insurance middleman. Only one exception is for traditional Medicare.

No. Your lab work is ordered through Labcorp or Quest and billed separately to your insurance or out of pocket. If you pay cash, pricing is often lower than insurance-negotiated rates, and HSA funds may apply.

These are separate from your membership. We coordinate directly with registered dietitians and certified exercise professionals, set specific goal-based recommendations, and help you work with the right providers for your needs. Dietitian services are typically $150/session if coordinated independently. As a Preventiononly member, you have the option to add our coordinated dietitian program at $750/year - a significantly better value for ongoing, goal-directed nutrition support integrated with your care plan. Dietitian services may be covered by insurance in certain situations and/or HSA eligible- superbill is provided by the dietician separately.  Personal training runs $90–95/session, with packages available at better per-session rates.

Please use the membership tier decision guide from the membership page. You may move up or down the tier depending on your clinical picture and progress. This will be finally decided by the physician in charge and reviewed every quarter.

Yes. Memberships are billed monthly with no annual lock-in. Cancel before your next renewal period. There is an initial $250 administrative fee that is waived after a continuous 12 month membership.

Yes. Your tier is reviewed quarterly. You may move between tiers with no additional enrollment fee.

While the app is available to everyone, the core and advanced memberships are currently only available to residents of Ohio.

No - the app stands on its own. A Preventiononly membership is an optional premium upgrade that pairs physician-led care directly with your app data, turning your health tracking into a personalized, clinically guided prevention plan.

A: Preventiononly provides timely cardiology reviews and urgent heart assessments for situations that require prompt attention but are not 911 emergencies. If you experience symptoms such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, or other signs of a medical emergency, you should call 911 or go directly to the emergency room, as Preventiononly is not a substitute for emergency room care. Our primary goal is to reduce unnecessary emergency visits by offering accessible, expert consultations, helping you manage your cardiovascular health more effectively.
